The Shaded DNA.

As a P&L-powered creative agency, we’ve built Shaded on the belief that creativity and commercial thinking should sit at the same table. Since launching in April 2024, we’ve grown a talented in-house team of strategists, creatives, and producers who work side by side in our London studio — a space designed for collaboration, curiosity, and culture. Spilling the Afternoon Tea brings that same spirit beyond our walls — connecting founders, investors, and operators to share insight, spark ideas, and move the industry forward together.

Our Founder Story

2012-17

Scaling DTC In-house

Shiv was managing budgets of $2M+ a month as Digital Manager at Wonderbrow; responsible for PPC, Paid Media and CRO. While Cassi was the second employee at Coco&Eve and helped scale the business from 0 to $12M+ via her creative strategy.

2020

How our founders met

Cassi and Shiv went for the same role and both got the job; Cassi went on to head up content and Shiv, the DTC department where they both scaled Noughty from £200k to £1.5M+ over 2 years.

2024

The start of Shaded

Before starting Shaded, Cassi had been successfully running her own business since leaving Noughty and Shiv was the MD of Bolt Digital, a performance marketing agency and established the DTC Live community. Over drinks, they decided to start an agency together with their complimentary skill sets and over 10 clients later, the rest is history...

We host a series of events throughout the year including Dreamland, a non-corporate, vibey, east London growth conference for retailer, ecommerce & DTC brands.

We also host Spilling the Tea, an afternoon tea at Fortum & Mason's where we deep dive into content and storytelling.
